When Igor Seredkin, President and CEO of Exoft Inc, a Russian-American joint venture, and Yeees Program
Alumni decided with his US partner that social responsibility should be part of a modern 21st century companys
activities, he contacted TAAAP for suggestions. Having members from and being co-housed with the Tomsk Oblast
Department of Social Development and Project Aid Siberia ( a US funded Food for Progress project), TAAAP staff
consulted with them and was able to recommend 3 orphanages in need of assistance and able to make exemplary
use of private support. The three were:
Detski Dom # 4 (Childrens House # 4) located in the City of Tomsk and serving 140 children ages 5-16 years of age.
This orphanage has very progressive management and works hard to provide a homelike setting.
Children live in families of approximately 12 each in individual apartments, siblings are not separated, and
the housemothers remain with the families on a long-term basis (years/decades).

Seemilushki Orphanage (Seven Meadows) is located in the village of Seemiluski 75 kilometers northeast of Tomsk.

Exoft has provided:

Krasnoarmenskaya Baby House is located in the City of Tomsk and serves children ages 0-4 years old.
