2. ACTIVITY OBJECTIVES
The Association is established to co-ordinate and assist former participants of different
programs of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) of the US Department
of State (former USIA) and some other governmental and private foundations.
2.2. Our goals are:
- To strengthen the local community through the effective positive contributions of
the skills and knowledge gained by alumni in the USA;
- To promote the ideas of freedom and democracy, taking responsibility for our own
civic and economic future;
- To develop free market economy principles through support for in-service and academic
training programs, development of community relations initiatives, social entrepreneurship
and policy research.
- To disseminate the experience, skills and visions gained for bringing the greatest
social and economic benefits to our society
- To benefit individuals from the Russian-American co-operation on all levels of academic,
government, media, business and arts.
2.3. To reach these goals the Association is assigned to provide the following activities for
the members of the Association:
- deliver conferences, seminars, consulting;
- provide access to information resources of American institutions, foundations, public
organizations and etc;
- inter-work with regional government for nexus advancement;
- Co-operate with American public institutions, foundations and individuals.
2.2. In case any activities require licensing, the Association will receive licenses in the
proper order.
