The charter 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS The Tomsk regional non-governmental organization called the "Tomsk Alumni Association of American Programs", hereinafter referred to as the "Association", is a voluntary formed, self-controlled public legal entity. 1.2. The Association is created and works according to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, and the Federal law on NGOs, current regulation documents and the present Charter. 1.3. The full name of the Tomsk regional non-governmental organization is the following: the "Tomsk Alumni Association of American Programs", abbreviated as "TAAAP". 1.4. The Association is considered to be a legal entity since the moment of its Charter's registration. 1.5. The Association on its own behalf can acquire both property and non-property rights, carry out duties, be the claimant and respondent in national, arbitration, arbitration courts, to conclude contracts on its own behalf. 1.6. The Association works as an economically independent body, and has detached property. 1.7. The Association has a seal, and currency accounts in banks of the Russian Federation. 1.8.
